We Don’t Just Build Athletes. We Build Champions—On and Off the Field.

At ET Sports Performance, we develop the total athlete: physically, mentally, and emotionally. From youth to elite college players, our athletes learn discipline, focus, and resilience that fuels them in the game—and in life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

No shortcuts. No excuses.
Our training culture is built on showing up, grinding through, and never coasting. Every session is an investment in growth. We believe in the underdog who outworks everyone—because hard work will always beat hype.

The Lab

This is more than a gym—it’s The Lab.
A space to experiment, fail forward, and get better.
Every rep matters. Every lesson sticks.
This is where confidence is built—and belief gets real.

In The Lab, athletes aren’t just training their bodies.
We’re building complete competitors—ones who show up consistently, grind through the setbacks, and embrace the process every step of the way.

TOTAL ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT

At ET Sports Performance, we go beyond the reps:

  • Training Programs: Built around your sport, your position, and your goals.

  • Recovery Tools: Access state-of-the-art recovery equipment and protocols trusted at the highest levels of sports performance.

  • Nutrition & Hydration: Simple, sustainable guidance to fuel training, optimize recovery, and support long-term athletic development.

  • Lifestyle Coaching: We coach the full process—helping athletes establish healthy habits that support both performance and personal growth.

Because true performance isn’t built in a single workout—it’s built in how you train, how you recover, and how you live every day.

Meet Elan Trischitta

Founder & Head Performance Coach, CSCS
Saugerties, New York

I’m Elan Trischitta—Founder of ET Sports Performance and a professional strength and conditioning coach committed to helping athletes become their absolute best, on and off the field.

After competing at the collegiate and professional levels in baseball, I returned home to Saugerties and launched ET Sports Performance to create the kind of training environment I always wanted growing up—one where hard work is expected, mental toughness is built, and athletes are coached with purpose.

As I built the business, I continued to gain hands-on experience in high-level athlete development. I earned my CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and joined the coaching staff of the Saugerties Stallions in the PGCBL, working with NCAA athletes from all over the country.

That same commitment to excellence and individualized training has earned ET Sports Performance recognition as one of the Top 3 Personal Trainers in the Hudson Valley by Chronogram in both 2024 and 2025.

From youth players to elite college athletes, my mission is simple: optimize performance, build resilient competitors, and develop athletes who are ready for whatever comes next—on the field, in the weight room, or in life.

No fluff. No shortcuts. Just focused, intentional work that gets results.

From youth athletes to elite college players, I coach with one belief in mind—hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. If you're ready to put in the work, I’m here to make sure it counts.

  • Our Head Strength Coach & Performance Trainer, Elan Trischitta, is fully insured and holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification—considered the gold standard in the strength and conditioning field. In addition to his professional credentials, Elan has worked hands-on with hundreds of athletes across multiple sports and levels throughout his career, bringing both expert knowledge and real-world experience to every session.

  • At ET Sports Performance, we take an integrated, comprehensive approach to athlete development. Each athlete begins with a thorough movement assessment, allowing us to build a customized training program tailored to their specific needs and sport demands.

    Every session includes:

    • A detailed warm-up incorporating flexibility and mobility work

    • Speed and agility drills

    • Plyometric and ballistic movements to build explosiveness

    • Strength training using a variety of resistance methods

This structured system ensures athletes develop strength, power, mobility, and sport-specific performance—all while reducing injury risk and building confidence.

  • Training memberships operate on a monthly basis, allowing athletes to attend sessions during designated training times each week while following their personalized training program.

    • Athletes may use their sessions flexibly within each month’s schedule.

    • Memberships must be paid in full prior to the start of each training month.

    • Membership cycles begin on the date of the athlete’s first session (e.g., 3/1–4/1, then 4/1–5/1).

    • Payments are due on the 1st of each new month.

    • Sessions do not roll over into the next month unless arrangements are made in advance.

    • If scheduling conflicts arise, it is the athlete’s or family’s responsibility to communicate and adjust accordingly.

Each membership includes a custom training program that athletes can also follow independently while their membership remains active.
Please note: Access to the training program ends if the membership is terminated or not renewed.

  • Athletes train in a semi-private environment alongside others of similar age and/or sport. Coach-to-athlete ratios are kept at 8:1 or smaller to ensure focused coaching and proper supervision, unless a full team is scheduled for a private team training session.

  • Drop-in sessions allow athletes to train on a single-session basis with their age group and/or sport. We ask that you notify us at least 2 hours in advance before attending a drop-in.
First-time athletes must complete a waiver prior to training, and payment is due at the time of the session.

  • Each athlete receives a customized training program based on their current abilities, needs, and training experience. As athletes train in-person, they are continuously coached, educated, and progressed to ensure proper technique and safe execution.
We prioritize mastery of form and movement quality before introducing more advanced exercises or programming. Athletes must demonstrate consistent proficiency to safely progress to more complex movements.

Additionally, all athletes receive weekly check-ins and have direct access to Coach Elan for ongoing questions, adjustments, and feedback to support continued growth.

  • Yes — team training is available as a specialized service. Each team receives a customized strength and conditioning program scheduled at a dedicated time slot. Programs are designed to target flexibility, mobility, speed, agility, power, strength, and recovery based on the team’s needs and season.

    • Team training requires a minimum commitment of 4 weeks.

    • A minimum of 8 athletes per session is required.

    • The rate is $25 per athlete, per session.

Team programs must be scheduled and finalized in advance to ensure proper preparation and consistency.

  • Training frequency depends on the time of year and the athlete’s sport schedule.

    • Off-season: 3–4 sessions per week is ideal for building strength, speed, and overall athletic development.

    • In-season: 1–3 sessions per week helps maintain strength, reduce injury risk, and support continued performance without adding unnecessary fatigue.

Every athlete’s program is adjusted based on their schedule, sport demands, and individual needs.

  • Training shouldn’t stop once the season starts—it simply needs to adjust. While off-season training may involve 3–4 sessions per week, in-season training typically shifts to 1–3 sessions per week depending on the athlete’s schedule, workload, and recovery needs.

We closely monitor readiness, fatigue, and overall workload to ensure the athlete stays strong and healthy without risking burnout or overtraining. For example, if an athlete had a high-intensity practice or heavy game schedule, that day’s session may be modified with reduced volume, lighter intensity, and a greater focus on mobility, recovery, and injury prevention.

The goal is always to support performance, not compromise it—keeping athletes strong, fresh, and confident throughout their season.

  • We understand that consistent in-person attendance isn’t always possible, especially for athletes who are in-season or live farther away. That’s why we offer both remote and hybrid training options to help athletes stay consistent year-round.

Using the PT Distinction app, Coach Elan delivers fully customized training programs complete with video demonstrations, detailed instructions, and ongoing feedback. This allows athletes to continue their ET Sports Performance programming from anywhere, while still receiving the coaching, structure, and accountability that drives progress.

  • Athletes are always welcome to train on their own outside of sessions. However, we recommend following the structured program provided as closely as possible to ensure proper progression and recovery. It’s important that athletes listen to their bodies, avoid unnecessary overlap, and use good judgment to prevent overtraining or injury. Our programs are carefully designed to balance workload, recovery, and performance based on each athlete’s needs.
